Maxi Dress and the Weekend Southern Style

It’s Maxi Time

Weekends were definetly made for the maxi dress.

Remarkably, the style and simplicity of a maxi dress can take you from poolside to the dining room seamlessly with style and ease.

Amazingly, the great thing about a maxi dress is that it is the art and the canvas for your look.  When styling it you need only add the accessories.

Today’s maxi dress is older and from my Tommy Bahama collection in my closet. Because it is knit, it is wrinkle-resistan with lots of stretch, which provides all-day comfort. And the style is finished with a scoop neckline, a side slit for added movement and adding to the profile for a great silhouette.

Finally, the only accessories added are some vacation pearls, sandals and a small straw clutch. Now, that was easy-peasy and I’m ready to go!

    • Thanks Laurie,

The clutch is the smallest of a three piece set of pouch(make-up / travel) bags from Dillards. I love it as a clutch!

      Enjoy your weekend!
