If you are heading to a tropical resort or any warm-weather location, then a pretty maxi-dress is a perfect item to add to your packing list. Indeed it is so easy to pack, lightweight and wrinkle-free. Usually, all it takes is shake when coming out of the suitcase. Then onto a hanger and you will be ready to go whatever the occasion in resort style.

Fortunately, the long silhouette of the maxi dress is wildly flattering on most body shapes. Always a resort wear favorite, this summertime dress style comes in a variety of patterns, fabrics, and colors. It is so versatile that it can be worn around the resort as a swimsuit cover-up in many cases.

Maxi dresses usually fit the body closely on the top. And they tend to flow loosely over the bottom of the frame to the floor.

Getting the right length to fit your height is all important. The last thing that you want is tripping up or getting caught in the hem of the maxi dress. That would spoil the occasion.
