Today Is All About Blue
What’s your take on blue?
Not the mid-winter blues, not feeling blue, but wearing and being surrounded by the color blue. I love it! It is my favorite color.
Whether it’s gazing at bright blue skies or deep blue seas, blue is the color for me. Maybe it’s the Baby Boomer in me. I have spend a huge part of my life dressed in denim and blue jeans. Today, when I look into my closet I still see a sea of blue.
This is a classic “Tommy Bahama” polo styled maxi in navy blue.
It is the upmost in comfort and easy to wear. I especially enjoy it for those times at home when I am in need of a break from jeans or slacks. It’s classic, yet comfortable and a perfect choice for me durning the winter months here in Florida.
Well, as you can see, I love the color blue! What’s your favorite color?

Beach Time With Friends and Family
Over the past six or seven years a group of us here in Gainesville have traditionally headed over to Palm Coast to share some beach time at Hammock Beach Resort. We have usually been there as a group over 4th of July holiday. As always in life, things and times change. The kids get older and new destinations start to fill the calendar. This 4th of July arrived and everyone went their different directions. Non the less, as if by chance, it was the last weekend of July and we made it back to Hammock Beach. Friends, families and fun!
Be sure to check out the video tour at the bottom of the post!
Fun, Food and The 4th of July
Yummm! I’ve been waiting a long time for this. My favorite foods in the whole world are Italian and our favorite restaurant in Boca Raton is Trattoria Romana. Having made that statement, I will clarify that there is no scarcity of fine restaurants in Boca Raton. We were only in town for the 4th of July weekend so we wanted to visit the ones that we were missing the most.
