Yellow Is Trending This Fall

Wearing yellow is the latest current trend for fall 2016. I’m loving it! It’s a fresh splash of color for fashion and accessories.  The late summer sun flowers and blooming hibiscus of September are the perfect inspiration for the bright sunny days of fall.

This unique necklace is a one of a kind piece, made by a local artist Ivecita, of Ivecita’s Designs. We visited with her in an earlier blog post highlighted above. It has been one of my favorite pieces all summer long. Her collection is very distinctive and made from an amazing variety of materials.

I’m wearing my latest end of summer shopping find.

It’s Chico’s Sutton Poncho in Golden Haze.

The poncho is unstructured and summer weight. It’s perfect for the coming cooler North Florida days. It can be turned and worn in a variety of ways: a boat neck, a v neck, or a round neck.

I’ve paired it with a navy camisole and Tommy Bahama linen slacks. I then added other accents of yellows. The Michael Kors handbag was purchased at TJ Maxx a couple of seasons ago.  My Kelly & Katie heels are from DSW.  The necklace that I am wearing is a one of a kind. It was made by a local artist Ivecita  of Ivecita’s Designs.
