Is travel in your future? If it is then let me share with you Four Travel Outfits For Fall 2022.
Well, for me as the Fall season rolls around, I begin looking ahead and planning for the upcoming holidays. And that means travel time. We are already planning our Thanksgiving holiday in South Florida with family. And of course, the Christmas holidays are right behind.
Travel Outfits For Fall
It feels good to be traveling once again be it a road trip with the pups coming along or a flying destination. Most of us have heard the quote, “It’s the journey, not the destination.” Well, I always want to enjoy the journey. And part of the enjoyment for me is to be comfortable and feel put together for whatever arises on our trip. So when I found these four items that are perfect for my travel needs, I knew that I must share them with you. They are my favorite Four Travel Outfits For Fall that you can easily mix and match into various styles.
Recently, while shopping at my local Athleta store, I found this Seasoft Tank Sweatshirt. It was one of those “I want it – I need it” moments! Immediately, I knew it would be perfect for traveling with my Brooklyn Ankle Pant. Since I already own the pants in green and black, it was easy to add gray to my wardrobe.
Monochromatic Look For Fall Travel
If you have been following me for a while, you already know how much I enjoy a monchromatic look. When opting for a monochromatic outfit, it’s easy to take the guesswork out of getting dressed. Plus, dressing in one color adds a totally chic element to your look and outfits. And who doesn’t want a simple, easy strategy for dressing when traveling?
Seasoft Tank Sweatshirt – Brooklyn Ankle Pant
Colorblock Espadrilles – Longchamp – Le Pliage Bag
When traveling, I always take along a large tote bag. Because it is handy and easily accessible, I pack essentials that I will need to use during my travels. Subsequently, you will find things like a small handbag, tickets, and even a lightweight jacket or sweater. Incidentally, my jacket is several years old from Chico’s Zenergy Collection.
I must say that I do love the monochromic look in black too! Incidentally, I think my choice of colors will depend on my destination and the weather.
Large Le Pliage Tote – Madison Slip-On Sneaker
If my travels are taking me to cooler climates, I like to pack my V-Neck wool and cashmere poncho from Nordstrom. Because it is so lightweight, it packs easily into my tote and is warm on a chilly plane or car ride. Incidentally, I purchased mine back in 2020, but fortunately, this tremendous little poncho is a Nordstrom staple and is offered yearly. It is always a great buy at the annual Nordstrom sales.
Mix and Match – Four Travel Outfits For Fall
Lastly, there is the mix-and-match factor. By mixing these items, we are expanding our outfit options to more than Four Travel Outfits For Fall. As a result of taking away the monochromatic look and mixing the contrasting tops and bottoms, we have two more entirely different looks.

The ability to mix and match these items is what I love about them. It makes packing easy, and also they are fantastic for at-home wear.
Hi Rosemary,
You look so great in these outfits and I love how you switched it up-so important when packing and traveling. When I travel I’m all about comfort, but looking put together and these outfits do it! I also always bring a wrap or poncho-usually with a hood so I can pull the hood up and go to sleep!!
Thanks for sharing your great choices! I can’t wait to take a trip!!
xo,
Michele

I love all of these looks! I was just telling another blogger I love the basic colors and then adding a pop of color. Classics are classic for a reason.
I agree, by adding a pop of color to our classic looks and we are ready to go!
I believe that once we have classics in our wardrobe, we are ready for most occasions. And a splash of color or a unique accessory will take our style to the next level!

These look comfortable and easy! I don’t have the Brooklyn pants but I have the joggers and love them for travel – easy to hand wash and hang up when I get to my destination. xo Nipa
