Catching Up On August
Happy Sunday friends! As we share this last weekend of August, I thought it would be fun to catch up on what’s been happening lately. Things such as, what I am doing, things I’ve been shopping, and plans I am making. So let’s do some catching up on August!
WHAT I AM DOING – CAR SHOW
A few of the things that I love about the fall season are weekend events such as cars show, art festivals, farmers markets, and football games. Saturday morning brought one of the first feelings of fall with the annual car show at the dealership.
WHAT I AM SHOPPING
As I am looking forward to September, I am shopping for items to give our home a bit of an autumn refresh. And this past week, I shared My Favorite August purchases.
My first refresh product is new the addition of this modern Corelle Square White Dinnerware. I am planning more updates and will be keeping you posted as I complete them.
WHAT I AM PLANNING
Health and Wellness
Now this last week in August as I am looking forward to September. Once again, I am making my health and wellness plans for fall. I believe that the change of seasons is an excellent time to reevaluate and reset my health and wellness goals.
As I have shared posts with you over the past several years, I work with Amanda Nighbert – registered dietitian and the LEAN Program of intermittent fasting and exercise. This program works well for me. Once a year, I like to do a refresh for 5 to 7 weeks. The daily accountably is what works to get me aware and back in the groove.
If you are interested in intermittent fasting and the LEAN PROGRAM, the next round of LEAN with Amanda is starting soon.

Such fun fall activities! We have our local agricultural fair this weekend and then I’m not really sure what else we have planned for fall activities… other than hiking.
So many fall activities are happening over the Labor Day weekend. Enjoy the fair! When I was a teen, we always attended the county fair on Labor Day weekend and school started the next week. Official kickoff of Fall 🍁
