Hi there friends! And welcome back to the front porch. Where is the time going? It’s been quite a while since our last chat and we have so much to catch up on. May has quickly come and gone and I am now busy making June plans for all kinds of fun and exciting things. So go grab a coffee and let’s get chatting!

May Catch-Up
Since our last chat, the month of May came and went quickly without a whole lot of excitement. We enjoyed a Kentucky Derby cookout with family and friends. And Mother’s Day and Memorial Day were at-home celebrations with backyard cookouts.
Banana pudding is an all time picnic favorite in the South and you can find it at many a summertime barbecue. It’s sweet, creamy, cool, and delicious! The recipe for this favorite dessert is here.
Plans For Living Room Refresh
Want a sneak peek at what I am planning?
I am thinking you might enjoy a sneak peek into my planning and creative process as I start to refresh my living-sitting room. Since I have collected many cherished items for my home over the years, I won’t be starting completely from scratch. My decorating method is to keep those items that I love and are still current. And, update with a few on-trend looks and finds.
Birch Lane is sponsoring the post and I am busy shopping their website. There are so many amazing items from which to choose. I will share with you those items that work in my living room. And reveal the finished project in a couple of weeks.
Ok, I bet you can guess what is the first item on my list to arrive!
Making Plans For A June Vacation
Every year we try to plan a family vacation, and this year is no exception. In December of 2018, we visited Jackson Hole, Wyoming in the snow. Now, the world is reopening and restrictions are being lifted, people are more confident in their health. Thus we are starting to travel once again. This year we are making June plans and traveling to Snow Mass, Colorado ( Aspen)in the summer sunshine. Be sure to keep following as we go hiking, fly-fishing, and much more.
What I am Loving This Month
As you already know, coffee is one of my favorite things. But I have just discovered this two-step Caramel Macchiato product. It can be made in a snap using the Keurig right in my kitchen. A quick sweet, afternoon pick me up! Just wanted to share with you.
Until Next Time

You are going to love Aspen in the summer. Granted I’ve never been there, but we would go up to Vail and Breckenridge quite a bit!!
Can’t wait to see your new decor!!
