Do You Duplicate Your Style?

Do you often look inside your closet to see more of the same? The same items or styles in different colors. I do and I like it. I have lots of duplicates of my wardrobe basics.

I like things in life to be simple. When I find something that I like and fits well I often buy a duplicate. I  purchase multiples of the same items in different colors.  I’m definitely not going for a uniform look. I would dread the thought of wearing the same thing everyday.

Basics wardrobe pieces to can be easily duplicated. A variety of different looks can be accomplished by changing to different accessories.

This cool linen top was  purchased at Chico’s this year. I originally purchased it in white  this spring. You’ve probably seen it in past posts. I liked it so much I repurchased it in navy  a few weeks ago when it was on sale.

Sunday’s temperature hit a high of 103 degrees. The family headed out to the movie theater. It was a great way to spend a hot summer Sunday afternoon.  This white linen shirt and linen slacks were perfect for comfort and easy to put together for an impromptu get together.

I’m loving the comfort and coolness of linen this year. Fortunately, I have the privilege of owning two pairs of linen slacks. They are both the same from Tommy Bahama. Each pair was gifted to me by my daughter-in-law. She has been wearing linen slacks for years. I’m so happy that she has opened me up to the comfort and coolness of  linen.
