Yellow is such a happy, feel-good color and is associated with happiness, laughter, optimism and plain old good times. Is it any wonder that we want to add it to our fall fashions.
One easy way to incorporate this shade into your outfit is to wear it as a top with neutral bottoms such as these olive green jeans.
Florida Fashion
Since I live in Florida, the pairing of bright hues with darker neutral colors is perfect. It brings the flavor of fall while we still have our warmer temps.
Recently while shopping at the mall, I found this bright sleeveless top on the sale rack. Because it was sleeveless and summer stock it was a perfect deal for me! I plan to pair it with my green jacket or cardigan when the temps get cooler. But for now, it’s working wonderfully on this hot fall afternoon.

I’ve been wearing yellow in the fall for years.

I tend to go dark yellow but I think in Florida we can wear anything softer.

Yes, here in Florida we can wear summer most of the time. And, we tend to change our seasonal looks by adding darker hues.
This top can make the trip to South Florida without skipping beat!

I love yellow and think it is a great color for fall. We are in Arizona for most of the winter now so I get to play with warm weather fall and winter style! I love it!

Oh I love those jeans! The olive color is so perfect for Fall and I love the style on you. I love mustards and this butter yellow – the color is lovely on you with your hair. I am glad we are having cooler temps finally , it feels like Fall.

I think you definitely took the yellow into fall. I used to live in Florida and it would drive me crazy to see boots, jackets and layers and I had to wear tanks still. Enjoy the sun!

My sister once said to me that she could not understand that someone would wear yellow. And she is the one with the dark olive skin. I have some soft yellow tops and they look great in summer. It is a good combo with blond hair like yours. Keep on wearing it, it looks stunning!
Yellow has always been my sister’s favorite color and she has a completely different coloring than me. A beautiful brunette and she wears yellows and beiges so well.
I am so happy that I have finally given the yellows a try. Don’t know why it took me so long!
