Heading To The Beach This Weekend?

 

Beach time has finally arrived!

What’s more, fun than shopping for a swimsuit? It’s shopping for a cover-up for that newly found swimsuit. In reality, most of us dread the prospect of the swimsuit dressing room where we suck it in, squeeze it in and pledge to ourselves that we are going to exercise every day from now on and are never going to eat junk food again. Alas, all we need before hitting the pool or beach is an amazing scarf cover-up to do the job of keeping all those insecurities at bay.

Once I hit the beach in Cabo during Spring Break, I was glad that I had packed my scarf wrap swimsuit cover-up. When packing for a trip, it’s always good to have wrinkle-free items and even better when they fold and take as little space in your luggage as possible. Perfect solution, the wrap cover-up.  Because it’s only a scarf!

Last fall, I purchased this scarf wrap vest at my neighborhood boutique. Originally I bought the wrap with the intention of wearing it as a vest with a tee shirt and jeans during the UF football season. As you can see it is Florida Gator Orange. Also, a fantastic color for the beach.

It’s a one-of-a-kind, hand-dyed, lightweight and so very soft wrap made by a local designer. A truly unique boutique finds. And guess what? It makes the best swimsuit cover-up.

 

Since my, cover-up is a unique one-of-a-kind item. I found several cover-ups which are currently available online. And I’m sure you will be impressed once you see the numerous and different ways of styling this one simple piece.
