What’s Is Style Personality?
Have you ever noticed that the most stylish women you admire have a personal Style Personality? And it speaks volumes, and it’s easy to identify their style personality types!
She’s the one that knows and accepts her body shape. She is confident and comfortable in her life. And she makes wardrobe choices that reflect her lifestyle.
Your style personality is your unique instinctive taste and individuality. It’s what sets you apart as an individual. Plus, it allows your creativity to bloom!
Your clothes are an expression of your individuality in spirit and character.
Sometimes it is easy to recognize and admire the style of others. But it can be difficult to identify our own Style Personality!
The secret is simply, ask yourself which styles feel best on you? Be sure to stick to your style. Don’t waste time thinking you should copy someone else style. If it’s not your own, then admire it. But don’t copy it! Your wardrobe choices should be reflecting the real YOU!
Always, remember that the latest fashion is not always stylish. Be sure to dress for style, comfort, and confidence! Because the ultimate goal of recognizing your Style Personality type is to wear only clothing that works for you and your lifestyle!
Style Personality Types
It is not unusual usual to feel an affinity with several different looks. After all, we’re different people at different times!
As we venture through life our style personality unfolds. We are growing and evolving throughout our life. Thus it is quite natural that we experiment with different looks in different phases.
In our quest for our style personality, we need to pay attention to our inner voices. Because our lives are a kaliscope of color, we don’t need to discard entire looks and styles. And our style personality is a blending of styles and feelings which are distinctive and unique to us.
Special occasions, changing of seasons, vacations, even our moods can all influence our choices. Adding a little variety is the spice of life. Don’t be afraid to add some frill or a bit edginess to your style. It’s okay to have some fun with your choices when you know your style.
Classic Style
Ultimately the look of the classic style personality is beautiful and timeless. She is chic, comfortable, with a bit of traditional air, and ready for any occasion.
You will find these ladies dressed in basics — the T-shirt, blazer, white shirt, suit, neutral colors, and trousers — and look effortlessly chic in simple staple pieces.
Natural Style
Fresh, relaxed, and unpretentious, the natural personality is completely comfortable in her world and her own body.
These gals like to live life on the casual side. Less makeup, along with relaxed hair styles while wearing casual clothing, keeps life simple. More than any other style, it is perfect for the sporty and outdoor lifestyle.
Dramatic Style
Nothing run-of-the-mill wardrobe for the lady! Bold new looks? New designers? Sexy? Avant-garde cuts? Private stylist? New York Chic! You name it! This fashion-forward group of women is never afraid to experiment with their fashion choices.
The Creative – Boho Chic
These free-spirited style-setters love earthy, ethnic-inspired looks. They are entirely at ease with themselves and never feel the need for outside approval from others! Just remember to keep it cool and chic. This look is not a license to look sloppy and thrown together!
Feminine Style
We all know and recognize the feminine style personality when we see! She is the lady who is never afraid to show her femininity. Always, up to date, with a silhouette that shows off the waist, curls, full makeup, and full of feminine allure.
Finding the REAL You!
On one last note, knowing your style personality is important for where you are in life at any given time. But remember that putting ourselves into a rigid formula where our freedom to express the changes in our lives is limited will feel forced and uncomfortable. As women, we are complex creatures and so is their personal style. Remember there are many style personality types. We must give our selves permission to change directions and start over. Because our lives and personal style do develop and changes over time.

I am so happy you enjoyed today’s post.

Totally enjoyed this read, Rosemary. I’ve always wanted to be a Boho kind of girl, but ultimately I end up sticking to classic. It’s just what I’m most comfortable in. Happy Saturday!
Gwen,
Sometimes allow for a diversion from our basic look, but I always revert back to classic.

This was a great read, Rosemary! I never really thought about my style personality. I like how you said it is important to know it, but also to not limit our freedom to express the changes in our lives. My style has changed through the years. I like to try new trends, but stay true to the classics.
I totally agree, variety is the spice of life and we love that fashion is fun!
I feel that it is great to think about our core style when making investment purchases that will last a while.

Fun post, Rosemary! I love dressing up but find myself not doing that very often this year. Funny how particular people come to mind as I was reading through the different styles. Xx..Melanie
Melanie, you know how much I love fashion.
But, I too am having a hard time with the fact that there is no where to get dressed up and go.
