Well, here we are and it’s mid-August already! And that’s fine. We still have lots of summer days ahead. But I am thinking that today would be a good time to review a few of the items that I have purchased this season. Because think about it ladies, now is the time for all the great summer sales! When things get hot here in Florida, I pull out my collection of linen items. I know linen wrinkles. But, linen is cool, classic, and I love it!
Each year I collect several pieces to replace the ones that are showing wear. And the best time to pick up those basic items is at the close of summer sales.

We eat most of our meals at the kitchen island. My countertops are dark granite and I find using placemats makes cleaning up much easier.
