And then there is “LOVE”!
My thoughts on love. As we have been experiencing what seems like endless challenges throughout this year, I am working on directing my mind to thoughts of positive things in life. And, as I am re-reading posts from the Simply Sunday series, I decided to re-share this one with you. I hope you enjoy it!
Love is the greatest gift that life has to offer!
LIVING IN A STATE OF HAPPINESS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT WE DO FOR A LIVING, WHERE WE LIVE, OR WHAT WE OWN.
Because we are human, we all crave love and acceptance.
ULTIMATELY, HAPPINESS HAS TO DO WITH LOVING OURSELVES and THE EXPERIENCE OF THE LIFE THAT WE ARE CREATING.
Some people are able to show their needs and emotions more openly than others. But, that doesn’t mean that because a person is quiet, put together, and appears to have life by the tail, that they are not struggling physically or emotionally on the inside.
Ultimately we have no idea what people are dealing with in their personal lives.
Because life deals with each of us a different hand. Thus, one person’s set of circumstances looks entirely different from another.
We must remember that we are only viewing what is on the surface. What lies beneath is anybody’s guess. Because each person is dealing with their own set of unique issues.
No matter our age, we all hunger for a sense of belonging.
Some more than others, but we all have that innate desire to belong. It’s a feeling of safety, of being a part of something bigger than ourselves.
Yes, it really is important to have the support of community, friends, and family around to help out when things get tough. And yes, it is important to be open to accepting their love and help.
Also, equally important is the ability to forgive ourselves for our perceived shortcomings and past mistakes.
The time for regret is passed, the time for love is now.
Now is the time when we need to allow self-love to come into our lives.
To see the child within us all. To forgive all that has come before.
By doing so we can start to change. Eventually, we begin to evolve into the happy person that we so want to be, right inside our own lives.
May we all be surrounded by positive energy, confidence, hope, and love as we pursue the life of our dreams.
Thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts on love with you today.
I hope that you are enjoying the Simply Sunday series. You can find more posts from the series here and here.
Wishing you a peaceful day on this Simply Sunday!

Hi Kellyann,
A small reminder to stop looking outside ourselves for perfection and to love and be as kind to ourselves as we are to the ones we love.
Thanks for reading.

Robin,
If we could all pause and realize that we are all looking for love and acceptance, what a wonderful world we would live in❣️

Rosemary, this is an absolutely beautiful post! Can you imagine if the whole world suddenly learned unconditional love? Real true love with no conditions, no stipulations, no rules? Wow. That is a powerful image. And this is a powerful post and a much needed message. Thanks for sharing and linking up with me.

Thanks for reading, Nancy.
Sometimes we get so caught up in loving and caring for others that we forget to give ourselves a little love too! If only we could stop comparing and just except one another.
