Patriotic Themed Tablescape

Celebrating With Red, White, And Blue

Celebrating with red, white, and blue Patriotic-Themed Tablescape for the 4th of July holiday!

Since 2020 is the year of the Staycation summer at our house, I decided that it is officially time to enjoy the patriotic-themed holidays and summertime tablescape. Most years we are traveling between Memorial Day and the Fourth of July. But this year due to the travel bans and the coronavirus, we are enjoying these holidays at home. And that is just fine we enjoy being at home with family!

And so after I shared my Memorial Day Weekend post, I decided to add some Fourth of July decor around the house and keep the summer holiday vibe going with a summertime tablescape. I always love adding a few festive touches around the house to make life feel a little more special. Today I am sharing my patriotic themed tablescape that is perfect for the 4th of July!

Because the dining table is a space that we do not use daily and it is off the foyer, it is a perfect spot to start my decorating with a holiday greeting!

Since, I am blessed to live close to family and my two grandsons are in and out of our home frequently. And, they provide me with the inspiration to keep my house a fun and welcoming destination!

I find that paper products work wonderfully into my summertime tablescape. Do you find yourself buys holiday paper products and having leftovers after the holiday? Well, the solution at my house is to set the mood for the upcoming holiday by using some of them before the holiday. Thus, my handy wicker holder stocked full of products for decorative settings and part of my summertime tablescape.

“Hungry boys, grab a plate off the dining room table. I’ll get the chicken nuggets or slice of pizza. Need a drink, grab a cup! ” No-fuss, no muss! Just time for fun.

In the past, I have shared with you that I like to tablescape my dining table early for the holidays.

These wooden baskets are wonderful for transporting drinks from the fridge to the tabletop or keeping your small bar together. And they are can be easily decorated for the theme of your summertime tablescapes. I merely added this patriotic wooden welcome sign to the side.

When I am looking for holiday decorating inspiration, I start with things that I already have in my home like flags and colorful table settings. After a quick look around, something as simple as adding a decorative ribbon turns a beachy vase into a patriotic centerpiece.

    • Kellyann,

That basket is a timesaver for quick service or around your pool. I keep it stocked in my pantry. Then, when the need arises it’s there and fully stocked. Pizza or snack and one?
