Let’s face it we all love our sweatshirts. Not only are they classic, warm, and comfortable. As we are stepping into Spring, they are the perfect top when we need an extra bit of warmth. Today, I am joining my Ageless Style friends as we each share our love of sweatshirts. And I am sharing how to elevate your sweatshirt style.
It’s all in the details!
Plain sweatshirts are great and I love wearing them in a simple classic style. I shared a few ideas in this post last fall. But, it is also fun to take look up a notch for different occasions and elevate your style.
Embroidery and Eyelets Designs: My favorite way of elevating a sweatshirt is to look for distinct patterns such as embroidery or eyelets.
Layering: We are all familiar with the basic idea of layering our sweatshirts with a collared top or tee and letting the collar, cuffs, or hemline peek from underneath.
Adding Accessories: Another way to elevate your sweatshirt is to add an interesting necklace or earrings. Also, don’t forget a colorful scarf! It will look fantastic!
Bottoms: When choosing what to wear to elevate your sweatshirt with your outfit, think about your casual wear. Jeans, athleisure wear, and unique joggers can be terrific choices!
