An Irish Prayer For St Patrick’s Day

Happy St Patrick’s Day!

Here we are on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day and I have a short St. Patrick’s day prayer for you. Regrettably there are many troubling events happening in our world today. So much is beyond our personal control and we feel the need for comfort in the mist of the troubles of the day. And so, for all my friends, Irish or not, I would like to share a little Irish Prayer on this St Patrick’s Day.

“May God give you,

For every storm a rainbow,

For every tear, a smile,

For every care, a promise,

And a blessing in each trial.

For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share.

For every sigh, a sweet song. 

And an answer for each prayer”.

“If you are lucky enough to be Irish you are lucky enough.”

May we all be lucky, healthy and happy today.
That is my wish for you dear friends!
