Skin Care Routine – Erno Laszlo

When it comes to skin care many of us are experiencing dry skin, especially during the winter months. If this is the case, then we need to nourish our skin along with hydrating it as part of our daily skin care routine.

You may remember that last month, I shared a post with you where I had begun using a few Erno Laszlo skin care products and promised to report back to you with my real evaluation.

Now, I have always used moisturizers as part of my daily regime for as long as I can remember. In my forties, I began adding serums to my daily dry skin care routine. And so I was excited to try the new to me, line of Erno Laszlo nourishing skin care products.

I must say they did not disappoint! I am totally sold on these three new special skin care products that are now a part of my daily facial routine.

But first, let’s take a moment and review dry and dehydrated skin.

What meant by Dehydrated and Dry Skin? 

Dehydrated Skin may be due to changes in the hydrolipidic film of the skin. This film is a thin layer of complex materials such as sweat and such, which covers the skin’s surface and acts as a protective barrier in preventing moisture from evaporating. When dehydration is present lines appear along with a lack of suppleness. This occurrence is reflected in the appearance of dehydration lines, a lack of suppleness, and tightness or discomfort shortly after cleansing our faces.

Dry skin is lacking in both moisture and lipids. Our complexions may appear to be dull, and rough, with fine lines visible. Many experience flaky patches of skin which may feel tight and uncomfortable. Dry skin needs nutrients!

My final thoughts:

I honestly love these beauty products and will continue to invest and use eye repair and skin serum as part of my daily skin care regime. And I definitely, look forward to trying more Erno Laszlo skin and beauty products in the future.
