Southern Summer Home Decor

I get excited when I get my email with the new summer arrivals at Pottery Barn. I have been a fan of Pottery Barn for ages. It is my go-to shopping site for all my area rugs and my southern summer home decor. And I do have a few replacements on my wish list. I am just waiting for a sale and spring break to be behind me.

Items I’ve Got My Eye On

CLOUD LINEN QUILT

I have got my eye on this soft chambray-colored quilt and pillow shams for my grandson’s room at my house. Each of my grandsons has their own rooms at my house for when they stay over. These rooms are filled with their special things and decorated with their toys, legos, etc. And as is with life, they are outgrowing those little boy items, and it is time to donate some things and update their rooms.

The room that I will work on first is my oldest’s and it is currently decorated in red and navy. He started with the train theme and we reversed the quilt a few years ago so that the trains are no longer showing. Anyway, his bed is from Pottery Barn years back. A navy camp-style bed with a trundle drawer down under like this one. I am thinking that this quilt and pillowcases will look amazing and more grownup for a teenager.

Ojai Lounge Chair

Now, you all know how much I love my porches! And I am in love with the fresh modern design of this Ojai Lounge Chair. I can picture a pair of these on a second-story porch. A comfy way to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while watching the world pass by.

Round Marble C-Table

Alright, I think you might agree that this is the perfect little table for those limited spaces. The bottom slides under the sofa or chair, and there you have a place for your morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine—the perfect solution for limited spaces.

Palm Pillow Collection – Grays

Whenever thinking of Southern or Coastal decor, the mind goes to palm trees and pineapples. And for the past couple of years, palm trees are right on-trend. Of course, yellow and gray are the Pantone Colors for 2021, and what better way to work the gray into your Southern Decor than adding some gray pillows. I bought last year’s gray palm pillow, so it stands to reason I want this year’s version too.
