Well, if you follow any of the style sites or even pay attention to fashion ads, you’re seeing the term athleisure wear everywhere.
Explained, it is really quite simply, casual, comfortable clothing that can be dressed up a little for everyday wear or worn to the gym as exercise clothing. And it’s a really big trend right now!

- New wicking technology allows moisture to be pulled away from the skin allowing you to stay cool and dry. Rapid evaporation equals a comfortable wearing garment.
- Antimicrobial technology in the fabric prevents of growth of odor-causing bacteria for a fresher smelling outfit.

The styling of athleisure wear is trendy.
These days, active-wear no longer has the look of a frumpy old style sweatsuit. When wearing an outfit such as this, it’s as easy to step out to lunch as it is to go to the gym.

I am absolutely a fan and I need more of this trend in my wardrobe. As I am retired and spend one day a week chasing after my grandson and walk with friends on most other days, it makes perfect sense. I love what you are wearing Rosemary. It is also very elegant.

I love it! I am a huge fan! I don’t own much of it yet, but since I broke my ankle, I am going to be in “athletic” shoes most of the time, this allows me a way to be comfortable and have some style. So I intend to shop it and see if it works for me! I love your outfit by the way! Very pretty!
I think you will love this trend once you try it. What really makes this outfit work is the legging style pants. They are a soft knit, but not a bulky sweat-pant material. Plus, they are very affordable.
