Are You A Lover Of Linen?
Linen is a fabric that is well-loved and many people enjoy wearing it during the Spring and Summer seasons. There are countless ways to love and wear linen. This is a fabric that is light, airy, and breathes well in the heat. And so it is very popular in tropical destinations. When the fabric is made of pure linen does have a tendency to wrinkle and that’s what gives the fabric its casual look. And many consider it to be an expensive look.

Casual Chic
If you are looking for a casual chic flare then try going with a monochromatic look in all linen. A linen jacket paired with linen pants or a skirt will do the trick. You can add a bit of variety by changing up the texture of your top if you so like.
Try A Linen Blend
You can find clothes that are made of a linen/cotton blend. When items are made of this material they are less likely to have a tendency to wrinkle, plus you get the laid-back look of linen.
Street Casual
It is easy to dress up even the most casual outfit with a bit of linen. Blue jeans and tee when you add a blazer, you have just made a winner!
Get Creative
Don’t be afraid, mix it up, and have fun with your outfits. You are going to love the comfort and feel of this fabulous fabric. And it is so great for adding texture to all your spring/summer outfits!
Caring For Your Linens
Because one of the reasons you chose to wear linen was to be cool in the heat of summer, you will have the need to laundry your items to keep them fresh and clean. Have no fear, You can wash your linen in the washing machine, no dry cleaning needed unless you have a structured piece such as a linen blazer. Then of course you will want to dry clean. Now just be sure to wash on cold. I find it best to wash my things on the gentle cycle. Don’t put any of your linen items in the dryer! They will shrink and you will damage the delicate fibers in the material. It is best to hang your things to dry or lay them across a drying rack like mine.

Rosemary,
I love how you styled your linen blazer!
I need to grab mine out of the closet!
I start to wear linen when the temperature hits the 70’s which is late March until the end of September.
Robin,
I can pull my linen things out a few weeks earlier here in Florida.
And, they really get their wear as the summer temps start to rise.

Hi Rosemary! I love linen, especially a linen blend (less wrinkles). A white linen blazer is a classic staple that is timeless. You look fabulous in it! Thank you sharing all the linen pieces.

These are all lovely options. The monochromatic is definitely my favorite. I’m reading this from the tropics, and there is a lot of linen here!
Fabulous outfits! I love the jacket and pants together, so elegant. Thanks for linking up!

Rosemary, this ivory linen blazer is stunning! There is something really elegant about a head to toe look in linen especially monochromatic linen. Of all the blazers I own, I do not think I have a linen one! I may have to fix that soon. Thanks for linking with me.
