Good morning and Happy Sunday! Welcome back to our Front Porch Coffee Chat! Well, here we are on this Sunday morning in mid-September. And I think it is an excellent time to catch up and enjoy a Sunday morning coffee chat. So, let’s grab a cup of our favorite brew and head to the Front Porch for our Coffee Chat!
What’s Been Happening!
September is a big birthday month in our family, so we loaded up the boys and headed out on the road for some Labor Day – Birthday celebrations. These two guys love to go for rides and are great traveling companions.
Now the only downside is that when we return home, Jake is scheduled for some dental cleaning and teeth removal. As you can see, these boys are well loved and cared for, but Shelties are known to have dental issues. Over the years, we have been blessed with five different Shelties. For those interested, I plan on writing a blog next month about owning older dogs.
Sunday Morning – Labor Day Weekend 2022
For a quick recap: Sunday morning, Labor Day weekend finds us enjoying the sunshine and boating on Lake Boca. Such fun with this little swimming spot right smack in the middle of Boca Raton, Florida.
Pull up your boat, throw your anchor, and jump in! The water is warm! Plus, there’s a floating hot dog stand and pizza delivery by boat. What a way to end a summer season!
Sunday – Miami Dolphins 🐬 Game
Before returning to North Florida, we attended the Miami Dolphins’ opening game at Hard Rock Stadium as a family. FYI we are Miami 🐬Dolphins and UF🐊 Gators fans. One of the best parts of the Fall Season is Football Season! 🏈
Mid-week we were happy to celebrate my oldest grandson’s birthday, do school drop-offs and pick-ups, and watch my younger grandson at football practice. It was a great September getaway.

My favorite outfit for this week features these amazing cargo pants from Chico’s. I have just ordered a second pair in the color Sea Salt. They are currently 30% off!
These convertible ankle pants can be rolled or unrolled for two great looks. Plus, they are made from a soft cotton-blend fabric with stretch making them a comfortable choice for casual days on the go. I paired them with my white top from Lilla P, which I have featured in posts such as “STYLING SLEEVELESS TOPS – AGELESS STYLE” earlier this year. And my sandals which are from Jambu & co. Sadly they are currently out of stock.

Oh your dogs are so lovey! We saw a mini collie in the UK, never seen a mini. I thought yours were collies too but googles it and Shelties are different indeed.

Awe your pups are so sweet! I am a dog lover so I just can’t stop myself from noticing the pups. Sounds like you have a beautiful life. The boat/lake life is something that fills my soul and although our season is short I like to soak it all up. Your boat is amazing!!! Hope you have a wonderful week ahead.
