Summer Shorts Suit
The summer season is arriving this weekend with the kick-off of the Memorial Day weekend. And with it comes the latest of fashion trends, the summer shorts suit.
What exactly is a shorts suit, you ask? Simply put, a shorts suit is a pantsuit with shorts. It’s a perfect option for those casual – dressy occasions.
Ultimately the trend of wearing a loose fitting blazer with a pair of boxy shorts is a very practical idea. On many summer days and evening, we often find ourselves spending time indoors in a chilly air-conditioned environment. Of course, the plus of the shorts suit, is we just remove our blazer once we are in summer heat again.

One of my favorite looks is a casual outfit with a classic flare. And so, the trend of wearing a shorts suit is a dream come true because it is so easy to put together an outfit with items already my closet.
My J Crew blazer was purchased from the Nordstrom’s Sale last year. Since I live in Florida, shorts and tees or tank tops are a wardrobe staple. Lastly, I added some statement print espadrilles and a colorful crossbody bag.

You could wear this look so easy. Don’t be overwhelmed by the idea of the shorts. Just think about the length. A pair of shorts with a longer leg, such as Bermuda shorts would look great on you!
Think of the fact that you can wear shorts that are the same length as a summer skirt or dress.
