Calling All Baby Boomers With Style

Are You Stylin’ For The Holidays Yet!

Hey, Boomers, it’s that time of year…the holiday season is now upon us. Now is the time for some Baby Boomer style!

So ready or not here we go!

November is well underway along with all the fun-filled events and outings. The time is here for family, friends, shopping, cooking, eating, you name it …. and I’ll be right there in the mix with you and enjoying every moment.

Of course, I am always on the hunt for comfortable and yet stylish outfits that can be worn in numerous ways. Just because I am of the baby boomer generation, and we have always liked to be on trend, I want to have outfits with a touch of class, a little edgy and looks that reflect that great baby Boomer Style.

The outfit that I am sharing today is one such combo. Simply because it can be styled casually as I am wearing it today with jeans and boots or I can change it up slacks and pumps for dressier occasions.

Today I am wearing one of my favorite tops by atina Christina which I purchased earlier this year at my local boutique. Since the fun part of shopping at boutiques is finding pieces that are one of a kind, I am going to show you some similar tops that are available for purchase now.

My top is an asymmetrical design with a v-neckline, a lace top layer, full length fitted sleeves and chiffon accents. Lastly, tiny silver threaded accents jazz this top up just enough for holiday wear and perfect for a hip casual look.

This soft pullover is dipped in a shimmering silver metallic wash. Without a doubt, this is a  chic and easy way to add some shine to your holidays.

Skinny Jeans

These are my first pair of AG jeans and they definitely will not be my last! I’ve finally found the perfect fit for my baby boomer body. The high rise and comfortable stretch are what will have me back for a denim pair next.

Besides the fact that my boots are from many seasons ago,  I still like the lace-up edgy style of a fashion-forward leather boot with a stacked heel. I especially like a roomy toe. Again, as a boomer, I like my style but also love my comfort!  You will find the boots featured above are very similar to mine.
