I am easing my way into spring and summer with the casual look of chambray. Why? Because it’s so easy to style and comfortable to wear! Plus, shades of blue are my favorite colors! So today, I am sharing 15 ways to style chambray for spring and summer.
I love shopping local, which means that I love to frequent the local boutiques and look for those unique finds of the season. The chambray dress which I am wearing today, is one of those finds.
The brand is Lilla P, the Button Down Shirt Dress. From the moment I tried it on, I knew I was going to get my cost-per- wear from the number of times I will be wearing this chambray dress for spring and summer.
As a matter of fact this is the dress that I am planning on wearing for Easter. Since, the dress is so soft and comfortable it will be perfect dressed up for a casual holiday.

Why Chambray For Spring And Summer?
First, it’s all about the weave!
Chambray is often confused with denim. And while it may look like denim, chambray is woven differently and is lighter weight. Typically chambray is a light blue color, but the texture is much softer and much thinner than your typical denim.
Simply luxurious, since certain chambray fabrics may contain thread counts as high as 500 they have a look and feel of luxury.
And so, when we have a fabric that is lighter weight and cooler than our typical denims it is perfect for spring and summer fashions.
