3 Ways To Weather April Showers In Style – Ageless Style

We have all heard the old adage, ” April Showers Bring May Flowers,” many times. And many years we just want to say, ” Rain, rain go away!” But nevertheless, we do want to enjoy the springtime in the rain or sunshine. So today, I am sharing my 3 ways to weather April Showers In Style as part of my monthly collaboration with my ageless girlfriends and our Ageless Style Linkup.

Inverted Umbrella For April Showers

While April showers may be falling all around, we can still have lovely May flowers overhead. I certainly do with the Purple Peony flowers inside my new inverted umbrella.

• Because of the unique Double Layer and Reverse Opening and Folding design: You fold the top “wet” layer into the under “dry” layer when you step into your car or wherever. Ultimately, this prevents water from dripping, keeping floors and cars dry.

I must say after using an inverted umbrella, I am totally spoiled and no longer want to use a traditional style umbrella.

Now my second suggestion is a lightweight jacket. Back in 2018, my husband and I were fortunate to enjoy an Alaskan cruise. And one of the items that we were gifted as part of our trip, was this lightweight, packable, waterproof jacket.

It is perfect for weathering April showers. And so lightweight that I keep it folded and stored in my car’s console. I love the powder blue color. Of course, mine is from 2018, but I did a comparable one by the same brand, Northface.

The bonus is that it is available now. Note, this is so perfect for traveling. It folds so easily and fits easily into a backpack or car glove box.

Shoes For Walking In April Showers
