The New Neutral – Animal Prints

Yes, fashion is definitely on safari this fall!

And you can join in on this fun trend by wearing your favorite animal print. Currently, the popular consciences are that animal prints are the new neutral. Meaning that animal prints is interchangeable with blacks, browns, navy, etc. With these thoughts in mind, we are seeing animal prints on the runways, at the office, and just about everywhere today.

African Safari Inspiration

“Africa – You can see a sunset and believe you have witnessed the Hand of God. You watch the slope of a lioness and forget to breathe. You marvel at the tripod of a giraffe bent to water. In Africa, there are iridescent blues on the wings of birds that you do not see anywhere else in nature. In Africa, in the midday heart, you can see blisters in the atmosphere. When you are in Africa, you feel primordial, rocked in the cradle of the world.” ~ Jodi Picoult

To visit Africa is one of the greatest adventures of a lifetime. Taking a wildlife safari is breathtakingly beautiful and enticing to all the senses. Recently, my family and I were blessed to share the African wildlife adventure.

This journey back to nature, it’s both physical and spiritual. These majestic animals are the perfect inspiration for life.

It is no wonder that we wish to copy their beauty onto our prints.

I’m looking to add some snow leopard print this fall. I think it will look good with blacks and our blonde hair.
