What is a Boyfriend Blazer?

Simply put a boyfriend blazer is a more casual style and cut than the classic blazer or suit jacket. Whereas in traditional blazers, the bottom hemline rests on the hips. A boyfriend blazer has a looser oversized cut with the bottom hem longer and hitting at the upper thigh. Sorta like you are slipping on your boyfriend’s blazer. Now let’s talk about how to style a boyfriend blazer.

Proportions Are Everything!

Remembering the fact that your boyfriend blazer is oversized is very important. Because of the extra length, the last thing that you want to do is add more volume. So a slimmer look on the bottom is best!

  13. These are all viable options. But the fact is that I struggle with oversize Blazers because I’m so pretty in my legs are so short to begin with. I do love the look on other women

      I genuinely understand not all styles are for everybody. However, this style works for me because I have long legs and a short waist.
